November 12, 2013 was the date for Episode 5 of our Be Smart On Air Hangout series, focusing on 1-1 implementation in schools. It was a very close call, however, since both me and Tiina Sarisalmi were really wiped out – to the extent that we seriously considered calling it quits just before Bjorn Behrendt joined us! However, after that there was no looking back :) The funny thing is that somehow the discussion that followed really made me feel a lot better. With other words: talking about pedagogical use of information technology with good friends seems to have some pretty awesome (positive) side effects. Highly recommended!
The audio only version – a mp3 file – is available through Dropbox here and the next episode has December 9 as a preliminary date. The first four episodes were hosted through my Google+ profile but this, the fifth one, had the Be Smart On Air Page as the host and this is most probably the setup we’ll use further on as well. However, the G+ Event for the next episode will be a public one so no invitation to join the Event itself is needed.
