It’s early summer – or late spring! – and, not all too surprisingly, many of the ‘regulars’ were not able to make it. However, Sari Auramo did, luckily! It was just Sari and me chatting which was fine – with the exception of my audio having this awful echo pretty much all the time. Lessons learned: never again, using the speakers in a Hangout.. Earbud or headset for everyone will be the golden rule from now on!
The main theme this time was ‘Is it all about the Internet?’ and I’m not sure if we got a definitive answer to that but working without Internet access these times would be very, very hard indeed. However, it does not hurt one little bit, having an off-line plan B. We got into educational social media use quite a bit as well, especially Twitter and Facebook.
Wrapping this Hangout up, it is fair to say this one was a Zombie Hangout; we were kinda tired, both of us :)
